New, Re-Admit, and Current Student Enrollment Steps
Students who are familiar with the enrollment steps can click here to go right to Drop-in Registration event details.
New students and re-admits (i.e., students who have not enrolled in one year or more) need to complete an admissions application to start the process. New students who wish to participate in a Drop-in Registration event are encouraged to apply (Step 1) and complete the mandatory Online Orientation (Step 4) prior to participating.
Continuing students can skip this step.
Visit dccc.edu/enrollmentsteps for more information.
New students needing to placement test can do so by appointment or during a Drop-in Registration event.
Continuing students can skip this step.
New students are invited to complete Steps 1-4 as soon as possible. Steps 1, 2, and 4 can be completed independently. Steps 3 and 5 can be completed by appointment or during a Drop-in Registration event (see dates and times below).
New students are encouraged to schedule an appointment with an academic advisor after completing Steps 1 through 4 for the best academic advising experience.
Current students are encouraged to schedule an appointment with their assigned academic advisor for advising. If your assigned advisor is unavailable, please schedule an appointment with Career and Counseling Services. Current students who already received advising can self-register when adding or changing classes.
Please Note: Students need to complete the FAFSA for every academic year that begins in August and are encouraged to do so as early as possible, and no later than May 1. Financial aid assistance is available during Drop-in Registration events and during regular business hours. Visit dccc.edu/FinancialAid for more information.
Visit the Detailed Enrollment Steps page for expanded directions on each step.
