How to Schedule a Transfer Appointment
We encourage students to schedule a meeting with a Transfer Advisor early on in their college career so we can be sure students are receiving the greatest amounts of benefits during the transfer process. If you are enrolled in the Dual or Guaranteed Admissions program or are planning on transferring under one of our other agreements, we suggest that you meet with a transfer advisor every semester for course registration.
Instead of requesting an appointment, students can "drop-In" for a transfer advising session on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Students may call
Before scheduling an appointment:
- Choose a major. If you need help on selecting a major and future profession, schedule a Career Counseling appointment. You might want one, or several, appointments with one of our career counselors.
- Check that your preferred school has your major. Log into their website and review their academic offerings.
- Avoid scheduling an appointment during class or while at work.
- Know your student ID number.
Transfer advisors are available in-person and virtually. To complete the request form, you must be logged into your DCCC account in order to access the Microsoft Transfer Appointment Request Form. If you need assistance, please call
