New Choices Career Development Services can help you gain the knowledge and skills you need to change careers or find a job. New Choices is a FREE (for those who are eligible) career exploration and job re-entry program that provides individual and group support, career planning workshops, employer contacts, networking opportunities, and provides support for resume writing, interviewing techniques and building basic computer skills.
New Choices is an ideal option for people who either are unemployed or are of modest income as well as those looking to get into or back into the workforce. The program offers day or evening workshops in eight-week cycles and is open to everyone.
For more than 29 years, the program has provided support and direction to thousands of area residents. Through workshops, participants learn the skills needed to find jobs, enhance careers or continue their education. Classes and workshops are designed to help build self-confidence and awareness.
Classes are offered at three locations - Delaware County Community College, (Marple Campus) – 901 South Media Line Road, Media; Southeast Center in Sharon Hill and the Exton Center. Evening classes are available at the College’s Marple Campus.
