New Phoenixville Campus Offers Credit Courses and Short-Term Certificates
\(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA • October 30, 2013)—This spring, Delaware County Community College’s Phoenixville Campus is offering credit and non-credit courses along with short-term certificate programs. This new site provides residents with an affordable, quality education close to home.
The Phoenixville Campus is the College’s sixth Chester County location and ninth location overall. It is located within the Technical College High School at 1580 Charlestown Road. On-site registration is available Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Students looking to earn credits toward an associate degree can choose from courses in English composition, information technology, mathematics, medical terminology, psychology and more. The spring semester begins January 21 and ends May 12.
Also available are non-credit courses in a variety of subjects, including English as a Second Language (ESL), grant writing, real estate fundamentals and Spanish. Plus there are opportunities for individuals to earn a short-term certificate in one of six disciplines:
- Dialysis Technician
- EKG Certification
- NIMS Certified Computer Numeric Control (CNC) Operator
- Pharmacy Technician
- Venipuncture
- Welding
Registration is easy, and there are College staff members available to assist you. New and visiting students must apply for admission before registering.
