What It Means to Be a Bravey: Balancing Ambition with Self-Care

This year's College-Wide Reading keynote event will feature a discussion with Olympian, actor, and filmmaker Alexi Pappas, author of Bravey: Chasing Dreams, Befriending Pain, and Other Big Ideas. Alexi will discuss her own mental health journey—including a battle with severe clinical depression—and the practical wisdom she has acquired along the way, such as how to pursue ambitious goals without losing sight of one's overall health and well-being.
