PALS is designed for students who have a solid knowledge of cardiac algorithms and flowcharts as well as proficiency in BLS for the Healthcare Provides, especially as they relate to pediatric patients. It is also designed to teach all students the lifesaving skills required to be both a team member and a team leader in either an in-hospital or out-of-hospital setting involving a pediatric cardiac arrest. Students MUST pass a pre-course assessment that is to be presented upon entry to the class.
The cost of the course is $275 and MUST be paid at the time of registration. This cost includes books, materials and certification cards.
NOTE: This is a two-day course, August 23 & 24, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. You MUST attend both days to receive certification.
