As the social status of LGBTQ people has changed since the 1980s, so has the status of LGBTQ youth. Come hear Steven Capsuto, author of Alternate Channels: The Uncensored Story of Gay and Lesbian Images on Radio and Television, 1930s to the Present deliver this video-illustrated talk that discusses some of those changes through the lens of TV portrayals of LGBTQ youth from the 1980s to the present.
