Health & Well-Being Classes
Yoga Nidra is a method of yoga practice that translates as Yogic Sleep, yet it is different than regular sleep in that we are deeply asleep yet remain conscious. The practitioner lays on the floor (or couch) covered with a blanket while listening to a series of verbal instructions of body scans, breath exercises, and guided imagery. This process allows the body, mind, and spirit to acquire natural self exploration. Yoga Nidra provides the benefits equivalent to 4 hours of sleep, reprogramming habits, and rejuvenating energy. No class the week of 3/15-3/20.
