Whether you want to be a silicon valley CEO or the high school student who just made $1 million dollars for programming in her bedroom, this course has the essentials you need to begin your journey. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program.

Make your LEGOs come to life! Bring in your favorite action figures or LEGOs and create a short film with your friends. Students can bring action figures from home, but LEGOs are available. All other equipment is provided. Student-created films will be available on a password-protected website to share with friends and family.

Your child will have a blast developing their skills in songwriting, music recording, voice-overs and audio equipment operation. Students can work interchangeably as talent and/or crew, behind the scenes or behind the microphone. They will create their very own song from start to finish and record it live. Students will receive one professionally edited audio CD that contains all of their camp recordings for the week.

Campers will explore will use their creativity to solve a series of web-based coding challenges. Each lesson builds fluency in essential digital skills needed for the future. Make Your First Video Game!

If you love playing video games, this is the camp for you! Make your first video game in this one-of-a-kind class that shows you the keys to designing your first 2D platformer game. Conceptualization, play experience, level design, graphics, sounds, and simple coding are just some of the concepts that we will explore. No prior experience necessary, just a desire to have fun.

Let's Go Golfing

Campers will learn from the pros at Paxon Hollow Golf Club. This camp will cover all aspects of the golf swing and fundamentals. Campers will receive instruction on the practice range, putting green, and oncourse. Golf etiquette, pace of play, rules, and sportsmanship will be reviewed. You will meet each day at the practice putting green at Paxon Hollow Golf Club (850 Paxon Hollow Road, Media), rear of parking lot. The program coordinator is Dan Malley, PGA Professional. Acting for the Camera

If you are an aspiring young “actor” this camp is for you. It is here you will learn real auditioning skills by working with scripts for commercials and film readings. Campers will learn how to personalize characters and follow direction, block for camera and read with their ‘co-stars’. Voice over will also be introduced. Improvisation and ad-libbing (off the script) will be taught as a basis of making acting choices and trusting your instincts.

The College has fantastic workforce facilities and we want to share them with campers! KidCON is an interactive camp where you become the carpenter. Walk-In Registrations may be brought to the office of Community Education Room 4157 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday. College is closed on Fridays from May 17 to August 9. Payment is required when you register.
