Notes:

  1. It is recommended that students select MAT 121 if needed, as it is a prerequisite for MAT 210: Statistics. Students may also select MAT 151 or higher. MAT 135 transfers as MATH 117 at Widener University and is recommended if MAT 121 is not necessary.
  2. Is is recommended that students select SOC 110 Intro. to Soc. as it equates to Widener's SOC 105 Intro. to Soc. or SOC 120 Social Problems as it equates to Widener's SOC 204 Social Problems.
  3. Humanities elective suggestions: ART, DRA, ENG 115 or higher, FRE, HUM, ITA, MUS, PHI, or SPA. (COMM courses count as Social Science courses at Widener University.)
  4. It is recommended that students select a HIS course, as a HIS course is required at Widener University.
  5. Widener recommends students complete MAT 135. If not taken at DCCC, it will need to be completed at Widener.
  6. It is recommended that students choose from this list of courses, as they are transferable to equivalent courses at Widener University: PSY 200, 203, 210, 215, 221, 235, or 290. PSY 202, 204, 205, 225, 241, 242, and 255 will transfer as electives.
