I have been an adjunct professor for about six years at several different colleges. I enjoy teaching because I look forward to interacting with other IT professionals. I especially enjoy being an adjunct professor because I know what it is like to be a student, taking classes at night and working hard for a degree because two of the three degrees I earned were earned at night as a working adult.

Theoretical Approach, Experience, and Temperament
My approach to teaching computer science is that tomorrow's IT professionals need to be more than just IT gurus, they need to be well rounded individuals capable of contributing to a business in more than just an IT role. I prefer my computer science students to actively participate in class, demonstrate their solutions and even prepare topics for presentation so that students are fully comfortable making a presentation to their peers.
