Colleen McDonough
I've been teaching psychology since 2003. My areas of interest are varied, but include developmental psychology, evolutionary psychology, social psychology, statistics and research methods. I genuinely love psychology, teaching it to students, and watching the light turn on when students really start to understand it.

Academic Biography
I got my BA in Psychology with a Music minor at the University of California, San Diego. After graduation, I worked for the Navy for several years as a civilian, doing epidemiological research, which was an amazing and fulfilling experience. At one time, we did an outbreak investigation of flesh-eating bacteria at one of the military bases in California. During that time, I earned my MPH in Health Administration at San Diego State University, but never really lost my passion for psychology. After several more years, and a job working for Head Start, I decided to go back for my doctorate degree in psychology at Lehigh University.
