Insurance Requirement

The College automatically enrolls international students in a health insurance plan. International students must accept this insurance. No waivers can be made. The College implements this policy to best and most efficiently safeguard students’ health needs. Students may wish to obtain their own supplemental insurance to increase their maximum total coverage.

The health insurance plan is provided by CMI Insurance Worldwide. Please take a moment to review the insurance brochure, which explains what is covered (e.g. basic doctors’ visits, emergency care, intercollegiate sports injuries, mental health care, etc.) and what is not covered (e.g. routine dental and vision care, etc.). Please contact the Office of International Student Services if you have questions regarding the claim form.

Students who will be under the age of 18 at the time of enrollment must submit a Medical Release form with their application for admission. Acceptances will not be issued until this form is received.

TOEFL – Test of English as a Foreign Language

TOEFL is not required for admission. Once you are accepted as a student and arrive on campus, you will be tested and placed in the appropriate level English language class.

Can I apply for financial aid?

International students are not eligible for financial aid. However, the College costs less than most four-year universities and colleges, and every fall and spring semester some international students work on campus to earn spending money.
