The Educational Foundation

The Educational Foundation sincerely appreciates the support from our community which makes our scholarship program possible. Please make your gift today which will help us respond to the continuing needs of our hard-working students and faculty. Visit www.dccc.edu/makeagift to make your gift online or contact the Advancement Office ([email protected]) or call 610-359-5131 for further assistance.

The Education Foundation also seeks corporate sponsorship for various college events. If you are interested in more information, please contact the Advancement Office ([email protected]) or call 610-359-5131 for further assistance.

Scholarships are critical for college students who cannot afford the full cost of their education. Thanks to the support of our many supporters, the college’s Educational Foundation awards approximately $700,000 in direct support to students each year.

Donors wishing to establish a scholarship may award an annual scholarship or create an endowed scholarship in perpetuity.

Annual scholarships may be established in any amount and will be presented in the full amount to the students who meet the guidelines established by the donor.

Endowed scholarships provide a permanent source of scholarship aid. They are established with a gift of $10,000 or more, which is placed in the Foundation’s investment portfolio. A portion of the interest generated from the endowed scholarship fund is awarded annually to the students who meet the guidelines established by the donor.

Annual and endowed scholarships may be named for the donor, a loved one, a corporation, foundation, or organization. To learn more about establishing and naming a scholarship at the College, please contact Rachael Patten, Executive Director, Educational Foundation 610-359-5131 or send an email to [email protected]

Are you a student interested in applying for one of the Educational Foundation’s scholarships? You can apply for a scholarship during the application cycle, which begins in January each year.
