(Delaware/Chester County, PA) – Delaware County Community College is able to assist students and families by offering a free financial information program, “Paying for College Information Night,” on Wednesday, November 9 at 6:00 PM in the STEM Center Lobby at the Marple Campus, 901 South Media Line Road, Media, PA.
College-bound students and their parents/guardians are invited to attend the free seminar that will help simplify the many financial options in the higher education environment. It begins with clarifying the guidelines for filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. Members of the College’s Financial Aid and Admissions staff will be available to offer assistance and guidance on the process. The FAFSA is required by most colleges and universities to qualify for scholarships, grants, loans and work-study.
At Delaware County Community College, access to affordable education is our mission. We offer many opportunities for students who need financial aid, such as federal and state grants, student loans, scholarships, payment plans and work-study programs. The program will also cover other aspects of financial planning, focusing on the actual costs. Detailed information will be available on application deadlines, payment plans and other funding sources.
A great education doesn’t have to be expensive. We will help you make the most of financial aid opportunities and walk you through the process. Our goal is for you to receive the maximum financial aid to attend the College.
Space is limited. For more information or to register for this information session, please call 610-723-4000 or visit dccc.edu/payforcollege.
