(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA • November 13, 2017)—Want to get ahead on your education this winter? You can earn credits between semesters through Delaware County Community College’s accelerated online winter session. The session runs from Monday, December 11 to Friday, January 12, and registration is open until December 8.
Featuring more than 50 courses, the winter session has something for everyone and can help you jump start your education or complete general education requirements between semesters. Courses include American History, Elementary Spanish, English Composition, General Psychology, Introduction to Business, Medical Terminology and more. New, visiting and returning students are invited to apply. For the full course listing, as well as registration instructions and textbook information, visit www.dccc.edu/winter.
Online courses are just as rigorous and demanding as classroom courses, but you will have 24/7 access to technical support, including tutorials. “Students who do well in our winter session are the ones who understand that taking a five-week online course during this timeframe requires discipline and the ability to juggle life’s responsibilities around course requirements,” says Alex Plachuta, Director of Online Learning. Plachuta adds that the College is committed to offering students personal attention and assistance, and encourages anyone with questions about taking an online course to contact him at 610-359-5057.
Space is limited, so apply now at www.dccc.edu/winter, or call 610-359-5050. Course registration ends December 8.
