Intensive four-week classes are offered entirely online during Delaware County Community College’s winter session! Pick up additional credit with a highly focused winter session course.
Online courses are just as rigorous and demanding as classroom courses. Please be sure you can dedicate enough time each week to your studies. These 4-week accelerated classes will require your complete dedication.
Regular tuition and fee rates apply. Financial aid may be available. The College recommends that students only sign up for only ONE course during this intense semester. Please contact your advisor if you plan to sign up for more than one course. Please note that some online courses will require online proctoring.

Students who have taken a course at Delaware County Community College within the past 12 months can register through delaGATE. Students enrolled at other colleges who wish to take a winter course must follow the steps listed on the Visiting Students page. First-time students can get the process started by applying to the College or requesting information. Applications are free at dccc.edu/apply.
About Winter Courses
Taking a Winter online course is almost like going to class seven days a week.
To be successful, students should understand how to juggle and prioritize their studies in the midst of the holiday season, travel, family obligations, etc. You can expect to be involved in some aspect of your online course every day, from watching/listening to lectures, to studying, to preparing assignments and discussions and so on. The greatest benefit of taking a winter session course is that you will be able to concentrate on one course over this Wintersession semester. Be prepared to accelerate your reading, writing and study time three-fold. We want you to be successful!
After you register, you will receive a welcome email (sent to your student email address) explaining how/when to pay your tuition bill, login procedures, etc. To access Canvas, login to delaGATE and click on APPS, then CANVAS from the upper right part of the screen.
