(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA – April 20, 2023) — New Choices at Delaware County Community College, a free career development course empowering adults with the skills, resources and support needed to find meaningful employment, is being offered both in-person and virtually this spring. The program is designed for individuals who are making transitions in their lives and need to refresh their skills and goals. “New Choices was life changing. The program allows you to ask who you are and find out what your skills are,” says New Choices graduate Sharon White. 

Through individualized attention and training, jobseekers will learn how to adapt their past skills to today’s workforce needs, learn new skills and prepare for the job market. The program includes career counseling and planning, interview practice, job search and networking strategies, LinkedIn training, salary negotiation tactics as well as training in Microsoft Word. In-person classes are held at the College’s Marple Campus, 901 South Media Line Road, Media, PA 19063.
