(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA)—The trades are hot right now. Careers in the skilled trades and advanced manufacturing can offer strong salaries, job stability, hands-on work, and faster entry into the workforce without high levels of student debt.

On Tuesday, May 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., DCCC will open the doors of its Advanced Technology Center at its Marple Campus (901 S. Media Line Road, Media, PA 19063) for Try a Trade Day. Whether you’re a high school student exploring career options or an adult considering a career change, you’ll have the chance to step into the lab, watch demonstrations, and meet professionals and instructors who work in these fields every day.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore careers in electrical work, automotive technology, carpentry, welding, CNC machining, HVAC, and more—all family-sustaining-wage jobs available right now with Greater Philadelphia area companies that need workers.

If you’ve ever wondered whether the trades might be the right fit for you, now’s your chance to find out firsthand. No prior experience necessary!
