SAT Prep Course: Verbal & Reading Comprehension
Helps develop test-taking skills and strategies through exercises in vocabulary, reading, writing and grammar. Covers comprehension of short and long passages, analysis of fiction and nonfiction writings, SAT-type vocabulary, and recognition of grammatical errors in sentence and paragraph structure. No actual composition writing is involved; see separate Essay Writing course below. All questions are multiple-choice. Book included.

These refresher courses will help students prepare for starting college or preparing for a standardized test. These courses are designed for native English speakers only.

Math
This math course is designed to refresh math skills. Basic math and algebra will be covered.

This series of courses help you prepare for the GED® test leading to the Pennsylvania High School Equivalency Diploma. Students should be at an 8th-10th grade proficiency level before registering for these courses. Call 610-359-5025 for course questions.

TOEFL Prep Course

Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS®) Prep
Skill-building practice in listening, grammar, reading and writing for students registering for the TOEFL exam. Also provides test-taking strategies. This is a test-preparation course for students who are already fluent in English. Does not include instruction in ESL. Book included. No class the week of 3/13-3/18.

ESL

English as a Second Language
Provides beginning, intermediate and advanced instruction in listening, speaking, reading and writing English. Students are grouped according to their current ability after assessment process at the first class. All levels may not be available at every location. Book with CD included. NOTE: Students will all be tested on the first night of class. The results will place students in qualifying levels: beginners, intermediate, or advanced. Classes will begin the week after testing. No class 7/3-6.
