Project Management
The College has partnered with the Project Management Institute-Delaware Valley Chapter (PMI-DVC) to offer courses to prepare you for certification in project management. These certifications recognize your project management knowledge, skills and abilities and demonstrate your project management expertise and professional experience.
Members of PMI-Delaware Valley Chapter receive an exclusive discount on the course fees. To join, please visit pmi.org/membership/join. Note: PMP, CAPM, and PMBOK are registered marks of the Project Management Institute, Inc.

Guarantee: Enrollees who take the PMP exam and do not pass may retake the Exam Prep course (limit one repeat).
Study groups for the PMP and CAPM exams are free for members of PMI-DVC and anyone who takes a PMI-DVC exam prep course. Study groups meet two evenings a week for five weeks. The study groups start shortly after the spring and fall exam prep courses end. For more information please visit pmi-dvc.org/education/study-groups.
The PMP Exam is based on PMBOK 7 + The Agile Practice Guide.  Both PMBOK 7 and The Agile Practice guide are FREE for members of PMI.  It is highly recommended for students in the PMP Exam Prep course to have both in their possession. The PMP Exam Prep course described below was specifically prepared by PMI to prepare students for the new PMP Exam.
For more information or to register, please call 610-723-4010 or email Mary McClatchy.

Success stories
“My professor, Dr. Lauren Donovan, invited students to participate in a meeting with DCCC’s Business Advisory Board. At the meeting she connected me with local business leaders, including Rosati Water Ice owner Richard Trotter. Rich graciously offered me an internship. He allowed me to combine my marketing background as a realtor with knowledge gained in my DCCC business courses to take ownership of an email marketing campaign promoting the launch of a new Rosati business initiative.”

“Education in the U.S. is known all around the world. Studying in the United States doesn’t simply give you a substantial degree. Your experience says something in regards to your identity. Living in and examining the U.S. where your language isn’t spoken is challenging, requires bravery and an inspirational state of mind.”
