Welcome to the Division of Communication, Arts and Humanities! Our programs are the doorway to success in your college journey and in your career.

If you are planning to transfer to a four-year institution, you can pursue Associate Degrees in Communication Arts, Creative Writing, English, Graphic Design, Liberal Arts, Photography, and Studio Arts. We also have career programs in General Studies and Theatre Arts (Certificate of Competency). Our students encounter a wide breadth of experiences in the course offerings provided by our dedicated faculty. No matter where your journey may lead you, CAH is a great place to begin!

Art + Design Programs

Want to study art? Choose from NASAD-accredited associate degrees in Graphic Design and Studio Arts that enable you to transfer to a four-year institution to complete a Bachelor’s degree.

Creative Writing

The A.F.A. in Creative Writing has been designed for students who wish to hone their skills in the field of creative writing to reach a career goal or transfer to a 4-year institution.

Communication Arts

Students can choose from Journalism, Communication Studies or Theatre concentrations while pursuing an associate degree in Communication Arts that enables them to transfer to a four-year institution.

General Studies

The General Studies program is designed for those students who wish to improve their critical reasoning skills, global understanding and role within social justice initiatives, oral communication, quantitative reasoning and many other skillsets.
