Apply for DCCC Admission

The Delaware County Community College Educational Foundation awards more than $700,000 in scholarships annually through more than 150 scholarship funds, helping students overcome financial barriers and continue their education.

How Foundation Scholarships Work

Most Foundation scholarships do not require a separate essay application. Students who complete the FAFSA and demonstrate financial need and academic progress may be considered for scholarship support. Preference is generally given to students enrolled full-time, although scholarship opportunities vary based on donor-established criteria and available funding. Students selected to receive scholarships are contacted directly and will be asked to submit a thank-you note to the donor whose generosity made the award possible.

Getting Considered

To maximize your eligibility for Foundation scholarship opportunities:

  • Apply for admission to Delaware County Community College.
  • Complete the FAFSA as early as possible.
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress.
  • Monitor your College email for scholarship communications.

Specialized Scholarships

Kelleher Connect Career Opportunity Fund

The Kelleher Connect Career Opportunity Fund provides up to $5,000 per semester in financial assistance for eligible students, as funding allows. To qualify, you must: Apply for the Kelleher Connect Program, be enrolled continuously in at least two academic courses in an eligible certificate program, maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 in each course throughout your enrollment in the program, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for each academic year you are enrolled, and be a resident of Delaware County or Chester County. Louise Strauss Scholarship

The Louise Strauss Scholarship supports Delaware County Community College students who are graduates of the Coatesville Area School District or residents of the Coatesville Area School District. Established through a generous $1 million bequest honoring Louise Strauss, the scholarship reflects a lasting commitment to expanding educational opportunity and supporting student success. Awards are made through the Foundation’s scholarship process in accordance with donor-established criteria and available funding. The fund provides ongoing support to students while creating a permanent legacy that will benefit future generations of learners. Non-DCCC Scholarship Opportunities

In addition to Foundation scholarships, students may qualify for scholarships offered by outside organizations and community partners. The Financial Aid Office has vetted timely scholarship opportunities for our students.

$200 towards your education? You’ve earned it!

Thanks to the generosity of Santander Bank in collaboration with their interactive financial wellness education hub Open Academy, we are able to offer $200 to students who ReUp, enroll in 6 or more credits and complete a FAFSA.
