Chester Trades Education Project

The Chester Trades Education Project (CTEP) is a collaborative initiative aimed at providing Chester residents with tuition-free, post-secondary education and training in the skilled trades.

The College is a regional leader in the development and delivery of courses leading to professional certifications, certificates of competency and proficiency, and Associate in Applied Science degrees.

We are proud to support employers and students in Delaware, Chester and surrounding counties with programs, degrees, and professional development courses that lead to careers in regional high priority occupations. Programs in automotive technology, carpentry, construction management and supervision, industrial production and mechanical technology, and certifications for electricians, HVAC specialists, plumbers and welders are all aligned with the workforce needs of employers in our region.

Community Education offers a diverse range of programs designed for personal enrichment and lifelong learning. These non-credit courses are open to individuals of all ages and backgrounds, providing opportunities to explore new interests, develop skills, and engage with the community.

Municipal Police Academy

The Police Academy provides the basic training (Act 120) curriculum that is required for every municipal police officer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to work as police officers in Pennsylvania.

Emergency Services Education

DCCC is an accredited Emergency Services Education Training Institute with the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services, Educational Training Agency of the Pennsylvania State Fire Academy, and an American Heart Association Training Center.
