This ceremony is first and foremost about our graduates. Please refrain from shouting, loud talking and rude behavior. Both graduates and attendees should remain seated during the reading of the graduates' names. Photography is permitted from your seats only, but please be mindful of not blocking the view of others who are nearby. *Please note: All students who applied to graduate and who have picked up a cap and gown may take part in the Commencement ceremony, even if they do not receive a degree. In other words, students who planned to graduate but failed to qualify for a degree because of failing a course, failing to obtain a satisfactory grade point average, etc. in the present semester, may still participate in the ceremony to the same extent as those who will receive degrees. This should preclude any embarrassment that might ensue from a last-minute change of plans.
