The Technical Services Team ensures that the College has a reliable, secure, and high-performing technology infrastructure to support its academic and administrative operations. This team is responsible for maintaining the College’s network, servers, wireless systems, and data storage, as well as managing mission-critical applications and core technology services such as authentication, identity management, email, and internet access. The team also leads the College’s cybersecurity operations, protecting systems and data against evolving threats. In addition, the Technical Services Team manages cloud computing and SaaS platforms, ensuring that modern, flexible services are available to meet the needs of students, faculty, and staff.

The College provides a modern, cloud-based telecommunications system to support on-campus and remote communication needs. With the adoption of Zoom Phone and Zoom Contact Center, faculty and staff have access to reliable, flexible voice services that seamlessly integrate with collaboration and conferencing tools. The Telecommunications Team also manages add/move/change requests and provides ongoing support for voice services. In addition, the team maintains the College’s analog phone services, emergency phones, and 911 infrastructure, ensuring that critical communications remain secure and available at all times.

Media Services supports the College community by providing comprehensive audio/visual and presentation services. The team is responsible for the installation, design, maintenance, and upgrades of all classroom and campus AV systems, including projectors, displays, room controllers, cameras, and audio systems. In addition, Media Services delivers event production support, managing lighting, sound, video recording, and live streaming to ensure successful academic, administrative, and community events. By maintaining and modernizing the College’s AV infrastructure, Media Services helps create engaging learning environments and professional-quality event experiences.

Web Services supports the College’s information and communication needs by maintaining the accuracy, accessibility, and timeliness of content across the College’s public websites. Now part of the Marketing team, Web Services focuses on ensuring that web content aligns with the College’s mission, brand, and offerings, providing students, faculty, staff, and the community with clear and consistent information. The team manages and supports the College’s Content Management System (CMS), assists departments with content updates, and helps maintain a user-friendly, accessible online presence.

Delaware County Community College uses Ellucian Banner as its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Banner supports core functions such as Student Services, Financial Aid, Finance, and Advancement.

The Banner Application Team ensures that Banner remains current, reliable, and available so that faculty, staff, and students can take advantage of the latest features. The team also manages the many integrations between Banner and other internal and external systems, ensuring that accurate data flows seamlessly across the College’s digital ecosystem. In addition, the team assists departments with reporting and data access, helping the College use Banner information effectively to support decision-making and operations.

The IT Support Team is the College’s first line of technology assistance, supporting students, faculty, and staff with their everyday technology needs. The team manages the installation and support of College-issued desktop and laptop computers, classroom and office audio/visual equipment, software, and printing services across all locations.

IT Support also operates the IT Support Center, located at the Marple Campus in the Academic Building, Room 4279, where walk-in assistance is available.
