Join us for a half-day conference dedicated to procurement-ready Veteran and Service-Disabled business owners.
No charge to attend.
Registration: 7:30 a.m. - 8 :15 a.m. with light refreshments
• This is a first-ever joint program meant to provide specific information on how to take advantage of Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) Verification status issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) under the VA’s Veteran’s First Contracting Program. Verification status opens windows for procurement opportunities with both VA’s Veteran’s First Contracting Program and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s
(PA) Diversity opportunities. Both programs require CVE verification for participation.
• Experts from VA OSDBU and PA will be present to discuss their respective programs, give tips on finding opportunities and how to get the attention of those necessary to help you succeed.
• Sub-contracting is also a valuable way to participate in both programs so a nationally known expert on teaming arrangements and Joint Ventures will also be there to provide advice.
This event is designed for Procurement-Ready companies.
What does it mean to be procurement-ready?
• Procurement-ready is the assurance that small businesses have positioned their company to compete in the targeted Federal and State acquisitions and contracts procurement processes.
• Ensure acquisition eligibilities through appropriate registrations, certifications, and verification procedures coupled with documentationcompliance and readiness.
• Provide Federal and State agencies a clear, focused, and structured approach to delineating mission capabilities through research, marketing, and knowledge of industry specific requirements and solicitations.
