Classes for Kids and Teens
Lifelong learning starts young! Delaware County Community College’s classes for kids and teens at the Marple Campus give motivated students ages 5-15 an opportunity to enjoy learning in a college environment. Classes are small, with hands-on participation and lots of individual attention.
Course favorites include:
CSI (Crime Scene Investigation)
A chance to become part of a forensic team (ages 8-11 and 12-15).
Super Sitters
Designed to help students become a responsible, knowledgeable babysitter (ages 11-15).
Drawing and Painting
For aspiring artists – pencil, charcoal, pastels and paint (ages 5-7, 8-11 and 12-15).
Karate for Kids
Practical applications of self-defense can improve physical coordination, dexterity and mental skills (ages 5-9).
Other course offerings:
Senior High Summer School
Designed for students seeking remediation or self-improvement, this is a diverse program of summer courses providing you with an opportunity to achieve high school credit for courses previously taken or to learn new skills. Students from all schools are welcome to enroll. The program includes make-up courses and enrichment classes. Review our program with your guidance counselor before assuming high school credit will transfer.
