Message From the Provost

Dear Prospective Graduates, Class of 2016:

I want to be the first to extend my personal congratulations to you and your families on your approaching graduation from Delaware County Community College. This year's Commencement ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 19. Please take a moment to review the important information below. The College’s website will continue to be your primary source of Commencement information; this page will be updated regularly so your families and friends will also have the most current information available.

I look forward to seeing you at Commencement!

Sincerely yours,

Dr. Eric Wellington
Acting Provost
Delaware County Community College

All guests need a ticket, including children and infants. The Announcements are not tickets and cannot be used for admission. Graduates themselves do not need a ticket.

Etiquette

Just a reminder that all graduates and attendees are asked to please respect each other and Villanova University, which has so graciously agreed to host Delaware County Community College’s 2016 Commencement. This ceremony is first and foremost about our graduates. Please refrain from shouting, loud talking and rude behavior. Both graduates and attendees should remain seated during the reading of the graduates' names. Photography is permitted from your seats only, but please be mindful of not blocking the view of others who are nearby. After the ceremony, graduates will have the opportunity to purchase photos taken by a professional photographer contracted by the College. Thank you all family and friends for celebrating this very special occasion with our graduates and our College family.
