West Chester University – Dual Admissions Agreement
Under the Dual Admissions (DA) program with West Chester University (WCU), qualifying students will be guaranteed admission into a parallel bachelor’s degree program with junior status. Students may attend as a full-time or part-time student.
To be eligible for the DA program, students must graduate from DCCC with an A.A., A.S., A.A.S. or A.F.A. degree.*
To enroll, students must complete an Intent to Enroll form before earning 30 college credits.
Students enrolled in the DA program should submit a completed Admissions Application the semester prior to transfer. The WCU application fee will be refunded upon matriculation at WCU.
Application deadlines:
Fall semester – May 15th
Spring semester – October 15th
Students must earn a minimum 2.00 GPA. Only grades of “D” or higher can transfer towards the bachelor’s degree major. However, courses with grades of “D” will not fulfill major requirements. Some programs require additional pre-requisite coursework or higher GPA’s before entry. Please refer to Addendum A in the full agreement in Transfer Check.
Once accepted, students must enroll at WCU within one calendar year after DCCC graduation and must not attend another institution prior to matriculation at WCU.
Guaranteed Scholarships (dated 2023) for full-time enrollment at WCU, per year for two consecutive years:

* Exploratory Studies, Respiratory Care, Sports Medicine, and the traditional BSN Nursing major programs are not part of this agreement.
