In accordance with Governor Wolf’s directive, the College’s physical campuses and centers will remain closed through April 30. Smarthinking Online Tutoring Services

Smarthinking

Smarthinking is Delaware County Community College's online tutoring service available to students 24/7. It provides currently enrolled students in traditional, online and hybrid learning courses tutoring assistance anytime, anywhere.

With Smarthinking, you can:

  • Connect with an e-structor and interact with a live tutor
  • Submit your writing to the Online Writing Lab 
  • Submit a Question and receive a reply from a tutor 
  • Schedule an Appointment with a tutor

To access Smarthinking:

  • Log into delaGATE
  • Click the Apps button (upper right hand corner on a desktop, under the apps menu on mobile)
  • Click the online tutoring icon
Please be mindful that both online and face-to-face tutoring are meant to supplement in-class instruction. Tutors cannot write or rewrite student essays or answer questions from take-home exams. The College's Academic Honesty Policy applies to online and face-to-face tutoring.
