Teaching at Delaware County Community College allows me to share my expertise in communication and psychology with my students. My commitment to public speaking is rooted in real-world practice, including serving as a TEDx speaker on The Currency of Clout, where I explored identity, influence, and impact in the digital age. At a community level, every classroom becomes a doorway to possibility, giving students access to tools that can transform not only their careers but their lives. It is an exciting time to be exploring how human behavior, leadership, and innovation intersect.

Personal Introduction

Communication is one of the most powerful forces shaping society. From boardrooms to classrooms, how people connect and convey ideas determines success. At DCCC, I strive to equip students with skills in public speaking, critical thinking, and behavioral science that will empower them in their academic, professional, and personal lives. My goal is not only to teach content, but also to help students build confidence, resilience, and the ability to see themselves as leaders capable of making an impact. My perspective is shaped by research and travel across 60+ countries, where I studied how culture, identity, and motivation influence human behavior. These experiences allow me to bring a global and motivational lens into the classroom, inspiring students to see their education as a pathway to transformation.

I have also taught graduate-level courses at Georgetown University and designed executive education programs for corporate leaders through David Castain & Associates, a conceptual marketing firm I founded. At DCCC, I bring this unique combination of scholarship and applied practice into the classroom, connecting theory to real-world challenges and opportunities.
