Personal Introduction
I have a deep respect for the choices students have made – both the choice to attend college and the choice to explore academic coaching as an additional resource. Choice is exciting because it highlights possibilities, but it can also create a lot of stress and anxiety. When we find ourselves in challenging situations, like learning difficult course content or struggling to manage our time, we can feel vulnerable and sometimes overwhelmed. But these situations present a valuable opportunity to grow. My hope is to work side-by-side with students as they develop skills that can help them shape their life based on what they value. I work primarily with students who are retaking a STEM course after at least two prior attempts, but I also provide workshops and resources for any student who is interested in improving their learning.
