- Website: Providing your mobile phone number on a DCCC web form, including during event registration or the application or inquiry process. Depending on the form, you provide consent either by selecting an SMS/text consent option or by submitting your number on a form that discloses, at the point of entry, that DCCC may contact you by SMS/text message. If you do not provide your number or consent, you will not receive messages.
- Verbal: While speaking with us by phone, confirming that you wish to receive information by SMS/text message. When you opt in verbally, we will remind you that message and data rates may apply and that you can reply “STOP” at any time to opt out or “HELP” for more information.

How We Use SMS/Text Information
We use your Communications Information collected through SMS/text to deliver the types of messages described above, to respond to your inquiries and provide support, and to maintain records of our communications with you. These providers are bound to keep the information confidential.
Opt Out of SMS/Text Communications

To stop messages from a particular type of communication, you must opt out of each system separately, or update your communication preferences where available.

Recordings and transcripts may be processed and evaluated using automated or AI-assisted technology that may be provided by a third party service provider. By continuing with a call after being notified that it is recorded, you consent to the recording and transcription of that call and having such recordings and/or transcriptions analyzed and/or imputed into artificial intelligence tools and accessed and/or processed by our AI-assisted technology and IT service providers for purposes of providing AI-assisted call services and IT support.
