How to Login to delaGATE for the First Time as a Student

In an internet browser, navigate to https://delagate.dccc.edu

Enter your DCCC ID and password and click Login. The password by default is your date of birth in the format MMDDYY. That is 2 digit month, 2 digit day, last 2 digit year.

If entered correctly, you will be prompted with a page that says your password expired. Answer the CAPTCHA by checking the “I’m not a robot” and click “Continue” to reset your password.

Create a new password that follows the current complexity requirements.

  • There will be instructions on what the current requirements are when creating a password. You will see a green check mark next to each requirement if you match the criteria.
  • If you create a password that is missing any requirements, you will see a red X next to the ones you are missing, and will be asked to try again.

Once a new password has been successfully created, you will be prompted to enroll in 2FA using Duo Mobile or a D-100 Token. You may skip this prompt up to 3 times before being required to enroll. All students are required to enroll in 2FA.

Follow the prompts to enroll your mobile device, or register a D-100 Token. If enrolling using the duo mobile app, be sure to scan the QR through the app, if one is provided.

Once 2FA enrollment is complete, you will be prompted to login using your 2FA method of choice. Approve the request (Duo Mobile) or enter the code (D-100 Token) to continue logging in to delaGATE

Please read and then Accept or Decline the DCCC Network, Computer, and Internet Use Policy.  Accepting the policy will continue with the login process. Declining the policy will take you back to the login screen.

Please read and then Accept or Decline the Account Lifecycle Policy.  Accepting the policy will take you to delaGATE. Declining the policy will take you back to the login screen.

Once you have met the complexity requirements, all the red x’s will turn into green checks and you can click on Set Password

You are now successfully logged into delaGATE. You can also reset your password at anytime after 2FA has been set up.
