(Media, PA) Opera lovers in the Delaware
Valley can now enjoy “live” concerts at Delaware County Community College. The
College will simulcast a variety of performances broadcast live in HD. All
performances will be in the large auditorium – Marple Campus – 901 S. Media
Line Road, Media, PA.

These
presentations bring the classical realm of music, dance and opera closer to
home for residents of Delaware and Chester counties. The simulcast series began
in January 2011 and featured the Philadelphia Orchestra performing six
concerts. The response was overwhelming, which led the Performing Arts
Department to engage in a number of other classical presentations that begin
with the North American Premier of Giuseppe Verdi’s, Aida (Italian with
English and Italian subtitles)

on Sunday, September 18 at 2 PM.
