(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA • April 3, 2019)—Do you have questions about succeeding in college with a physical or learning disability? Then don’t miss Delaware County Community College’s Transitioning to College with a Disability session on Tuesday, April 30 at 6:30 p.m. at the Pennocks Bridge Campus (Room B137, Technical College High School, 280 Pennocks Bridge Road, West Grove, PA). Students, parents and educators are invited to attend to learn about students’ rights and responsibilities and meet with a representative from the Office of Disability Services.
Transitioning to College with a Disability will provide insight into the application process, documentation needed to arrange for reasonable accommodations, available support services at the College and strategies to help students succeed. A representative from the Office of Disability Services will also be on-hand to answer questions and address concerns.
