(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA)— Delaware County Community College has been recognized as a Top Workplace for 2025 by The Philadelphia Inquirer. The Top Workplaces program is now in its 16th year of illuminating Philadelphia-area companies that earn high marks from employees.
Any organization with 50 or more employees in the Philadelphia region was eligible to compete for the 2025 Top Workplaces recognition. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a confidential third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC.
“We are proud to be among the employers in the region who believe that taking care of employees is the foundation of success,” said DCCC president Dr. Marta Yera Cronin. “This recognition reflects what I already knew—that DCCC is more than a place to work. It is a place where we align in our common mission of student success, support of each other in our shared goals, and where we continue to build a culture of inclusion, empowerment and growth.”
DCCC has a main campus in Marple Township along with centers in Downingtown, Upper Darby and West Grove—with a new Southeast Center in Drexel Hill slated to open for classes in January 2026.
The confidential survey uniquely measures the employee experience and its component themes, including employees feeling Respected & Supported, Enabled to Grow, and Empowered to Execute, to name a few.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of.”
