(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA • August 22, 2014)—Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind exhibition featuring the work of 28 members from four regional community art centers. Art Encounters opens on Wednesday, September 10 with a reception from 3 to 7 p.m. The exhibition runs until October 3 in Delaware County Community College’s Art Gallery (901 South Media Line Road, Media, PA).
Art Encounters features members from the Chester County Art Association, Community Arts Center of Wallingford, Darlington Arts Center and the Main Line Art Center. Visitors will get an opportunity to learn more about the art centers and how they contribute to the community.
The exhibition includes ceramics, collages, paintings, pottery, photography, sculpture and other works. Participating Artists, include: Annette Alessi, Nancy Barch, Sharon Bartmann, Maxine Burkholder, Catherine Carney, Wendy Cotton, Rose Marie Cunniffe, Pia De Girolamo, Kathy Deaville, Austin Dodson, Jessica Eldredge, Melanie Fisher, Barbara Hanselman, Nancy Markezin, Maura McConnell, Betsy Miraglia, Roe Murray, Terry Newitt, Olga Nielsen, Justin Phillips, Laura Pritchard, Kate Ryan, Maria Schneider, Sandra Sigley, Tad Sperry, Emily Wilkins, Scott Work and Dganit Zauberman.
The exhibition is free and open to the public.
