(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA)—Delaware County Community College’s SpectiCast series continues with an HD broadcast of Stephen Sondheim’s Company on Sunday, March 17, 2013, at 2 p.m. The performance will be shown in the Large Auditorium in the Academic Building on the Marple Campus (901 S. Media Line Road, Media, PA).

Following five couples and their friend Robert (Neil Patrick Harris), the perpetual bachelor, Company explores the true meaning of being in a relationship through a series of vignettes. Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother, Rent) leads a star-studded cast that includes Patti LuPone, Stephen Colbert, Jon Cryer, Christina Hendricks, Craig Bierko and Martha Plimpton.

Company's plot revolves around Bobby (a single man unable to commit fully to a steady relationship, let alone marriage), the five married couples who are his best friends, and his three girlfriends. It's a concept musical composed of short vignettes—presented in no particular chronological order—linked by a celebration for Bobby's 35th birthday.

Now in its third year, the College’s SpectiCast series brings the classical realm of music, dance and opera closer to home for residents of Delaware and Chester Counties. Each performance is produced using a state-of-the-art audiovisual system and is choreographed to capture the fullness of the orchestral performance and the intimacy of the on-stage experience.

Admission is $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and $7.50 for students and children. Tickets must be purchased with cash and are available at the door. Tickets will go on sale 45 minutes prior to each show.  For more information, please call 610-359-5266 or visit www.dccc.edu/the-arts.
