(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA – January 11, 2024)—Nearly 40 representatives from the region’s skilled trades unions met January 11 with PA Senator Tim Kearney, Delaware County Community College (DCCC) Trustee Jim Gaffney, DCCC President Marta Yera Cronin and other College administrators to discuss prospective partnerships between the College and the unions on pre-apprenticeships and other workforce training. The College provided lunch and took the union leaders on a tour of the College’s Marple Campus Advanced Technology Center, where the College provides skilled trades and advanced manufacturing workforce training.
