(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA • March 4, 2019)—Are you in a career transition and anxious to get back on track but don’t know where to begin? Do you need help with confidence building, assertiveness or education and training resources? Are you looking for basic computer skills? Delaware County Community College’s FREE New Choices Career Development program can help you gain the knowledge and skills you need to determine a career path, find a job and achieve your goals.
New Choices is a six-week program that provides individual and group support, career assessment and planning, employer contacts, networking opportunities, resume writing, interviewing techniques and basic computer skills, with the aim of helping students find a successful career and a fresh start. Participants learn how to make career, educational and personal changes successfully.
The next session begins Tuesday, March 19 at the Marple Campus (901 S. Media Line Road, Media, PA). Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call 610-359-5232 for more information. The deadline to register is March 18.
