(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA • August 27, 2018)—Are you unemployed or underemployed and anxious to get back on track with your career, but don’t know where to begin? Do you need help with confidence-building, assertiveness, or education and training resources? Are you looking for basic computer skills? Delaware County Community College’s FREE New Choices Career Development program can help you gain the knowledge and skills you need to find a job and advance your career.
New Choices is a FREE six-week program that helps participants make career, educational and personal changes successfully. Classes run Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the College’s Marple Campus (901 S. Media Line Road, Media, PA). The program provides individual and group support, career assessment and planning workshops, employer contacts, networking opportunities, resume writing, interviewing techniques and basic computer skills.
The program will begin its next session on Tuesday, September 25, and the deadline to register is Monday, September 24. Interested individuals are invited to call 610-359-5232 for more information.
