(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA • April 12, 2019)—If you love bingo and designer handbags then don’t miss Designer Bag Bingo, a fundraiser to benefit Delaware County Community College’s New Choices Career Development Program. The event will be held on Wednesday, May 8 in the Cafeteria in the Academic Building on the Marple Campus (901 S. Media Line Road, Media, PA). Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and bingo begins at 6:15 p.m.
Designer Bag Bingo is Hawaiian luau themed this year and includes a light dinner, desserts, raffles, door prize and 11 chances to win a designer bag. General admission tickets are $35 in advance, $40 at the door. New Choices graduates and current Delaware County Community College students can purchase tickets for $25 in advance, $30 at the door. For the last 37 years, the College’s New Choices Program has empowered individuals in career transition to achieve increased economic security through career assessment and guidance, personal growth, education and employment. New Choices is FREE (for those who are eligible) and provides individual and group support, career planning workshops, employer contacts, networking opportunities, resume writing, interviewing techniques and basic computer skills. Classes and workshops are designed to build self-confidence and awareness.
