(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA • February 19, 2020)—Are you looking to get back to work or school, but not sure where to start?
New Choices Career Development Program at Delaware County Community College is a free service aimed at helping single parents, displaced homemakers and individuals in transition explore their strengths and interests. In addition, the program gives them tools for success in the workforce, including basic Microsoft Office training, resume assistance, interview practice and networking opportunities. Pathways to education and certificate programs also are discussed in the program.
For 37 years, New Choices has helped Delaware and Chester County residents consider how their goals, values and motivators can translate into promising careers. Comprehensive career instruction is offered in a classroom setting, with the addition of one-on-one career guidance sessions. The next six-week session will be held at Delaware County Community College, 901 South Media Line Road, Media, PA 19063 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, March 17 – April 24.
