(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA • January 23, 2015)—Pictured here are students and staff from Delaware County Community College’s Surgical Technology program along with Delaware County Councilman Dave White.
Councilman White visited the program in December to present the group with a resolution recognizing the hard work and dedication they have put into their training and for the community service they do. Each year, students in the Surgical Technology program host a glove drive and collect gloves, scarves, hats and mittens for Operation Warm.
White told the group, “As you reach the conclusion of your program and go out and work in your field, I wish you success and I urge you to continue to do community service because it that goes a long way in strengthening our communities.”
