(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA • July 14, 2021)—Interested in learning more about the academic and workforce training programs available at Delaware County Community College? The College will hold an in-person Open House from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 21 in the courtyard at the Marple Campus, 901 South Media Line Road, Media, PA 19063.
To register for this event, go to dccc.edu/openhouse and click on “Summer Open House.”
Summer Open House participants will be able to speak directly to faculty and staff from the College’s academic divisions, hear about the student enrollment process and learn about financial aid opportunities, including Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF III) from the American Rescue Plan that allow most students enrolled in credit courses the ability to receive up to $600 in grant funds and a textbook voucher up to $400 for the Fall 2021 semester.
Participants, and their family members, can also learn about the nearly 80 programs of study offered at the College, discover how they can earn College credits while still in high school and find out how to take full advantage of the College’s many transfer agreements with area four-year colleges and universities that can save them time and money toward a baccalaureate degree. The rain date for the Summer Open House will be 6:30 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 22.
