(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA)—DCCC brings the Tony Award-winning, laugh-out-loud musical, “Avenue Q,” to the stage April 15 to 18 at 7 p.m. in the Large Auditorium of the Academic Building on the College’s Marple Campus (901 South Media Line Road, Media, PA 19063).
The musical tells the timeless story of a recent college graduate named Princeton who moves into a shabby New York apartment on the far-flung Avenue Q. He soon discovers that it is not your ordinary neighborhood. Together, Princeton and his new-found friends struggle to find jobs, dates and their ever-elusive purpose in life.
Ali Caiazzo directs the production, and the musical director is Kennedy McAllister. Tickets are $15 general admission, and $10 for students (valid school ID required). For tickets, visit dccc.edu/theatre. PLEASE NOTE: This production contains adult themes and strong language and is intended only for mature audiences.
Delaware County Community College’s Theatre Department is committed to providing a comprehensive theatre education to its students and bringing the results to the community through vibrant, thought-provoking productions. The College offers both a Theatre Arts certificate program as well as an Associate in Arts/Communication Arts with a Theatre option.
