(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA)—Delaware County Community College and Western Governors University (WGU) have announced a new partnership that supports graduates and employees through seamless transfer pathways, personalized support, and opportunities for higher education and professional development. This collaboration provides access to online, competency-based degree programs designed to help learners advance their education and careers.
This partnership reflects DCCC’s commitment to creating accessible pathways that help students continue their education and achieve their career goals.
“For nearly 60 years, Delaware County Community College has empowered students from all walks of life to pursue their dreams, uplift their families, and strengthen their communities,” said DCCC President Dr. Marta Yera Cronin. “Among the many benefits of attending DCCC is our more than 30 transfer agreements to four-year institutions to continue the pursuit of higher learning. This transfer articulation agreement with Western Governors University is a wonderful opportunity for our students.”
WGU currently serves more than 4,300 students and 9,500 alumni across Pennsylvania, and this partnership expands opportunities for students in Delaware and Chester counties to build on their education and prepare for in-demand careers.
