(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA)—With a tough schedule in one of the most competitive intercollegiate regions in the country, Delaware County Community College men’s basketball head coach Dwayne Saunders feels his 2025-2026 squad is “ready to compete from day one.”

The DCCC Phantoms men’s basketball team will be led by two returning sophomore guards, Jabree Martin of Chester and Stephen Rosemin of Jamison. Named an All-Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference selection last season, Martin scored over 500 points while averaging 18 points per game and shooting 38% from the perimeter and 52% from the field. A quick and dynamic guard, Rosemin will play a key role in leading the offense, and Saunders expects him to have a breakout season.

“I’m excited about this team’s energy, effort and enthusiasm,” Saunders says. “While Jabree Martin will lead the charge, this year’s success will be a true collective effort as the Phantoms aim to continue trending up in wins and make a post season run.”

Delaware County native Saunders is in his third consecutive year in a role he also held from 2010-2013, when he posted a 55-22 overall win-loss record and the team won the 2011-2012 Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference (EPCC) Championship. The DCCC Phantoms will compete in the 26-team Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Region 19, considered one of the most competitive regions in the nation at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III level.

The Phantoms’ home games will be played at FiDonce Gymnasium, site of the former St. James High School, at 215 E 21st St, Chester, PA 19013, about 20 minutes from the College’s Marple Campus in Media. The team opens its season with two home games, Nov. 8 at 2 p.m. vs. Salem Community College and Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. vs. Rowan College of South Jersey-Cumberland.
